On this model course you can enjoy a whole day on Miyako Island. It takes about 9 hours to visit the five islands and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Miyako Island.
(1) Depart hotel (Island 1) Irabu Bridge (bus window)
Irabu Bridge is the longest non-toll bridge in Japan at 3540 meters!
(2) Irabu Island: Makiyama Observatory (Island 2)
You can see Miyako Island, Irabu Bridge and the azure ocean!
(4) Toriike Pond
Two ponds are connected underground, and the pond on the ocean side connects to the ocean at this a Natural Monument!
(7) Higashi-Henna-zaki
The scenic easternmost point of Miyako Island! This is one of only two lighthouses in the prefecture that you can climb. Go up the 97 steps and take in the 330-degree panoramic view.
(8) Yukishio Museum
Smooth and fluffy Yukishio salt! All the products are produced in this salt factory. You can find “Yukishio,” “Yukishio Soap” and other products that are only available at the factory. Be sure to try the sweet and salty “Yukishio soft serve ice cream”!
