We monitor the health status of our bus drivers and provide them with appropriate guidance to prevent health-related accidents.
Upon joining the company, all drivers undergo SAS (Sleep Apnea Syndrome) tests, brain MRIs, and medical examinations to confirm their health status. After joining the company, SAS and brain MRI examinations are performed every two years, and annual health checks are performed.
We monitor the daily health status of our drivers. In addition to face-to-face roll calls on arrival and departure, we conduct rigorous alcohol testing and health checks using our IT roll call system during overnight operations, and monitor blood pressure for those bus drivers who need it. We also conduct stress checks based on the number of hours worked each month and provide appropriate guidance.

In order to prevent accidents caused by health problems, we have contracted with the “Driver’s Brain Scan Center” and our drivers receive brain MRI examinations, which are effective in preventing cerebrovascular disease (subarachnoid hemorrhage) that can lead to sudden loss of consciousness. To prevent bus accidents caused by sudden changes in the driver's condition, all drivers are required to undergo medical examinations.
About 73% of our fleet (16 buses) are equipped with the latest equipment, including cloud-based digital tachographs with LTE communications, drive recorders, GPS, etc., to enhance our operation management system.
We are now rolling out cloud-based digital tachographs with LTE communications. Collecting accurate information such as speed, driving time, engine RPM, etc. in our IT system is helpful for safety instruction and attendance/labor management to prevent accidents.
Our buses are equipped with 4-camera LTE communication type always-on drive recorders. These always-on recorders are used for driver training as they can also capture video of near misses.
Our buses equipped with digital tachographs have a GPS function that allows the office to monitor the location of the bus almost in real time. The system also displays vehicle status, such as boarding, alighting, resting, and running, allowing the office to check the status of the vehicle at a glance. Up to one year of operation history can be retrieved.
Drivers perform daily inspections in accordance with the legally required inspection items before leaving the depot.
We also perform the legally required three-monthly inspections and annual vehicle inspections at authorized dealers for more professional and reliable maintenance.
We hold regular safety seminars for our drivers to prevent accidents, improve our services and share information.
We hold regular safety seminars for all drivers to share information and exchange ideas on topics such as near misses recorded by our internal drive recorders, hazard prediction training, and media coverage of serious accidents.
